Do you have any unique talents, experiences, or accomplishments?
Developed new URiM faculty development program. 6-month URiM faculty professional development program intended to
1) augment peer mentoring and a sense of community
2) enhance career development skills
3) facilitate discussions about navigating academia as a URiM faculty member, and
4) support an inclusive environment.
After the program, nine (81%) of the 11 promotion eligible course participants successfully submitted their promotion packets within 2 years of the program.

• National Society of General Internal Medicine Mentorship in Education Award in 2014
• Emory University Exemplary Teaching Award given to recognize exceptional teaching and significant contributions to the scholarly life of the university in 2021
• The Georgia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Award of Excellence for the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in 2021
